Welcome to the Rock Splitter Mountain Bike Race!
This year, we are excited to offer a full weekend of racing on the Split Rock Wilds trail system in Beaver Bay! Racing kicks off on Saturday with the Rock Splitter Enduro, showcasing some of the best backcountry descents at Split Rock Wilds. On Sunday, riders will be treated to the classic Split Rock experience with a full loop of the system.
Enduro
New this year, the Rock Splitter Enduro showcases some of the best backcountry descents at Split Rock Wilds. Riders can expect a mix of fast flowy singletrack, exposed rock slabs, and technical low-speed sections. The course is designed to reward well-rounded riders who can handle a variety of terrain. With a balance of natural and man-made features, this course offers a true backcountry enduro experience for all riders.
Pre-riding is recommended but not required. All features are rollable or have clearly marked ride-arounds. Get ready for an unforgettable ride!

XC Race
Heralded as the most mountainous mountain bike race without a mountain, this year’s race is designed to challenge riders of all levels. The Rock Splitter offers stunning views and rugged terrain unlike anywhere else in the region.
The race starts after a neutral rollout from Beaver Bay, the course climbs into the Split Rock Wilds trails, where technical skill is just as crucial as pure fitness. Riders will navigate relentless rock gardens, carve through flowy sections, and tackle challenging climbs followed by exhilarating descents. The Rock Splitter puts together the best trails in the system into one 20+ mile-long course.
